Buttons n Bows Childcare IN Co. Galway

Anne from Buttons 'n' Bows childcare centre, Moylough, County Galway, wanted to create a fun, clean play area for the children attending Buttons ‘n’ Bows, the area to the rear of the building was waterlogged for most of the year and made for an unusable and unattractive space for children and staff.

Anne’s only brief was "have fun with it!" and so we did! First and foremost, we resolved the waterlogging problem with the addition of a proper drainage system! We designed a colourful fun play area customised to suit the area and our clients brief of adding "fun" to the play area!

We incorporated existing elements from the original play area, the yellow flower tunnel and a large tractor tire and created a fun roadway over the tunnel, added fun colourful elements such as hopscotch and utilised a number of brightly coloured grasses to create interest and zone areas.

We loved working on this project creating a truly unique, fun, clean and safe area for the children and staff of Buttons ‘n’ Bows to enjoy for years to come!
